QZ8501
Sunday, December 28th, 2014
Most of Asia woke up today to the news of Air Asia flight QZ8501 having disappeared en route to Singapore . Across the world people tracked the news hoping for a miracle of the passengers being rescued . That hope still burns bright . Hopefully tomorrow will bring good news about the passengers on board being rescued from the sea .
As it always happens with such flights – there are people who made a last minute reservation to take the flight . And some who cancelled their tickets close to departure . One such lucky individual was Mr Chandra Susanto who was scheduled to travel on QZ8501 along with his wife and 3 children . They cancelled the plan a day prior as his father was unwell .
‘I am very thankful to God for his mercy for me and my family. But I am so sad and very sorry for the people on the plane,’ Mr Susanto said. He also had this to say ‘ Our lives have changed. We are so grateful. We have an opportunity to be the best people we can and to help others. We are so thankful to God‘
Reading the article it struck me that most of us are blessed to have that opportunity daily . Just because we did not miss a flight that crashed we don’t often realize the enormity of the gift that each day represents .
Our thoughts and prayers with those onboard the flight and their families and loved ones . A real tribute would be living each day for the GIFT it truly is #Be the Best People We can & Help Others.
Let Earth Breathe!
Monday, November 25th, 2013A mother always protects her child from wearing a plastic bag over their head, else they may suffocate and die.
What about Mother Earth? Why do we ignore such a deed from happening to our planet? Why do we continue using polythene bags, plastics, etc. and choke the rivers, drains, etc. Doesn’t the same principle apply to it as well?
The over utilization of plastic bags across the world has suffocated Earth. Marine life, the animal kingdom, plants and forests, etc. all get affected by the human’s “inhuman” actions. All because we forget to nurture Nature.
Let’s not aggravate this situation. Let’s switch to better, biodegradable and reusable solutions such as cloth, jute bags, etc. Remember,
1 cloth bag = 300 plastic bags.
By using simply ONE cloth bag we are saving planet Earth from 300 plastic bags worth of torture. Why not make this difference today?!? Switch to a reusable, Eco-friendly alternative.
Here’s to the crazy one..

The Tote Pal Tale
Saturday, March 9th, 2013Words enable worlds. This is a true story of how words can open up new perspective and possibilities.
Once a teenager on her way to her college exam was anxious and trembling with nervousness. She had her Tote Pal with the words “Miracles come in Moments. Be Ready and Willing” along with her in which she carried her belongings. Just as she approached the gate, where her equally nervous friend was waiting for her, she needed to grab her notes from the bag. Her friend saw the quote on the bag and broke into a big smile. She pointed out and said “Hey! See what your bag has to say.” Both kids had a surge of confidence as they walked through the gate to enter the examination building.
No doubt the girls had prepared well and had put in their 100% efforts towards their examinations. But every now and then people need that tad bit of encouragement to push them towards success.
The Tote Pal quotes are our 1% inspiration to your 99% perspiration. Just as in the case of the teenagers they have been there as a true Pal for many people – inspiring them as they in turn use the Tote Pal to create a more sustainable world.
Experiences like these from the Clean Planet community warm our hearts and encourage us to serve the community better. It’s inspiring for us to know that our creations of love and conviction are reaching out and making a difference way beyond the functional and style aspect of the product.

Japan – land of the brave
Wednesday, March 16th, 2011Japan is a country close to our heart . We have several Japanese clients, business associates and friends. It’s amazing and inspiring to see how stoic and brave they are. Across companies we see the same message ‘We must now work to build the future of our country’. We see this in individuals of different age groups . Truly remarkable and admirable.
We wish the citizens of Japan strength , courage , peace and joy to overcome and triumph the many challenges they are faced with.
